City Council Vote on Madison’s Energy Plan

“Madison’s Energy Plan” will be voted on by Common Council on Tuesday, June 7th. Come to learn more and speak or register your opinion.

The Energy Plan will advance Madison’s efforts toward a low-carbon future and includes recommendations to implement a Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program, as well as collaboration with MGE on clean energy efforts.

The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 7th at 210 MLK Jr Blvd in Room 201 (City County Building). You can also contact your alder ahead of time.

Madison’s Energy Plan was considered and passed by the Sustainable Madison Committee on May 16th, the Common Council Organizational Committee on May 17th, and the Board of Estimates on May 23rd.
